You may have noticed our new online store! Hopefully it has been helping with some of your more urgent contact lens and eye care supply needs.
We are also working on how to keep your experience here in our office both comfortable and safe.
So that everyone's exposure to illness is at its lowest, we will be taking the following precautions:
- Appointments: If you are planning a trip to our office, please make an appointment, so we can limit the amount of people in the office at any one time. We are spacing appointments to allow time to fully disinfect areas and for maintaining proper social distancing. As always, we will continue to ask individuals who are not feeling well to postpone their visit for the safety of our staff and patients. We ask that any patients with a fever, cough, trouble breathing, have tested positive for COVID-19, or have been exposed to someone who has, to wait the appropriate amount of time as advised by their primary care physician before visiting our office.
- Crowd Control: We are asking that any companions other than one accompanying caregiver or guardian needed for assistance, remain outside our doors. Unfortunately, this includes siblings, spouses, and drivers. If you do not have a scheduled appointment you will be asked to wait outside until we can accommodate you. Please do your best to follow any distancing instructions displayed in the office.
- Masks: Please bring your own mask to wear during your time in our office. For the safety of our staff and other individuals, anyone without a mask cannot be inside the building. If you do not have one, you will be rescheduled and asked to return wearing one. A mask is any covering that covers both the nose and mouth that can be secured in place with no handling.
- Sanitation: In addition to using the sanitizing station as you come in the office, there are several areas throughout the office to use sanitizer as needed. For our part, we frequently disinfect all touched surfaces throughout the office. As always, we will continue to fully disinfect instruments between patients. All worn or touched frames will also be sterilized with a hospital grade disinfectant before being returned to their displays.
